2023-2024 NTI Scholar/Family Information
In the event of inclement weather, FCPS has these choices:

Use NTI (non-traditional instruction)
-
Cancel school
-
Delay the start of school
-
Dismiss school early
Please use this schedule to determine start and end times for Rise in the vent of a delay or early release.
Please take a moment to check or update your family’s contact information and communication preferences in Infinite Campus to ensure you receive our notifications. Log into the IC Parent Portal or contact our front off for assistance at: 859-381-4720.
Effective 1/4/24, chromebooks shall be sent home daily through the month of February. If scholars have access to computers at home, they are NOT required to take home school chromebooks.
In the event of NTI:

Building will be closed

Rise scholars will log into Google Classroom for asynchronous instruction

Visit Tech Support or (859) 381-4410 for online assistance

The Help Desk can also be used for assistance at (859)381-4357

Scholars will complete assignments, but no new material will be presented

Classroom teachers will have their Google Classroom office hours between 8:30-10:30am.

Scholars receive participation recorded in IC through completion of the assignments for the NTI day

Scholars will have three days to turn in assignments once they have returned to school
How to access your scholar’s classroom:

Download and open the Chrome browser application
-
Login to the chrome browser using your scholar's email address and password.

Go to classroom.google.com and select your scholar’s homeroom page.

Go to the classwork tab and find the NTI assignments.
